    Default Recommend a PNS camera?

    Hi,

I want to replace my 4yrs old Casio Exilim Z55.

And I'm catching up with latest PNS camera's pros and cons but its too wide. Can you recommend a model to narrow down my search?

    Thanks in advance.

    Any requirements?

I am considering getting a PnS too and have sort of narrowed down to the following:

    Fuji F50
    Sony T200/300
    Sony H3
    Minolta. Konica Minolta. Sony

    I'm looking at

    LUMIX DMC-TZ3
    Sony W200 (abit ex)
Nikon Coolpix (no idea which model to shortlist)
    Canon IXUS or powershot S5IS

since you are using 400D, the S5IS should be its best companion. vari-angle LCD, 12x zoom and 30fps VGA shooting plus the ability to use the same EX flash, also the same familiar Canon configuration...just the right back up PNS for Canon DSLR.

Any of the above with a reasonable short shutter lag?

yep, would recommend the S5IS if the size is not an issue to TS...I have the S5IS as a backup or when I dun feel like bringing my 40D out...

Most PnS has shutterlag, maybe, you would like to try them hands on to see which you prefer.
