Hi all,
Any kind soul can provide me the contact details of a lion dance troupe who is enthusiastic about participating and contributing to a short film? They can be part of a club, volunteers or school cca. I need their expert advice and equipment on lion dance. Like many other indie film makers, although everything is on a shoe-string budget, maybe we can discuss and work things out. For more details about the short film, u can just email me n i'll gladly reply. Also welcome are actors/actresses interested to be part of a short film in the coming months. Thanks all!! ![]() |

Well its about a lion dance competition so I need to create that kind of scene. So i need the lion dance troupe with their equipment and costumes. And I need their music expertise to create the atmosphere. Also, I have limited knowledge of lion dance (could only rely on google) so I need to know a basic history, the basic movement of the dance so the short film can look as close to realism. They will also make up the cast though I would be casting an actor for the lead lion head role.
Thanks for the help engr. I understand that certain lion dance clubs are really serious with what they do (with teachers who take the culture seriously). I hope you can provide me contact details of groups that are open to experimental short films. I dont want to step on tails/toes and wanna be as sensitive to people's feelings as much as possible. |
