Hello,

Went up north with a car club for some photos as they book the entire Sepang F1 Circuit for their own use.

Here are some panning shots. Equipment used: Canon 350D with 55-250 IS, all hand held.

Second Team Intergra is a nice picture/ I like the composition. For the rest, it seems like endless and endless pictures of cars racing by. Apart from that, its good exposure. Did you do motion blur for each one of them?

I would feel, a variation of pictures such as close-ups, pit stops, engine tuning would make a photo-story.

nope, no motion blur. only adjusted the level and curve and crop to compose.

nice shots. I was only shooting with 35-70mm in the morning session, were you shooting in the aftrenoon?

thanks for the compliment. yup. i was in the afternoon session.

i saw ur photos, find tat the shuttle of ur photos a bit too fast. wats ur shuttle? mine was never faster than 1/160 sec.... certain photos i even go down till 1/100.

was shooting @ 1/180, tried slower but pix was blurry due to hand shake from fatigue. I was squeezing in the shots between lapping runs. I need to hit the gym, hahaha

noticed tat ur shots are at turn 1 and turn 2. if u willing to walk (its a damn bloody long walk) to the straight between turn 8 and turn 9, it will be nice. most of my shots are taken there.

if u noticed the rotor of the last DC5, its red hot due to hard braking before entering turn 9 which is a sharp left turn.
