Looking for a new P&S DigiCam

I'm just here to ask about your individual suggestions in regards to which brand you actually recommend when it comes to P&S DigiCams.

There's a few areas which I'm particularly looking into; at least 8mp, low noise levels, manual A & P, at least 5x zoom, image stabilization and good image quality.

I believe most DigiCams meet these requirements, but seriously, which brand would you recommend(s)? Nikon, Canon, Panasonic or Fujiflim or any others?

Tried a search? Your question comes up about 5 times a week, and it will start the usual brand wars.

Why do you need people to tell you what to buy? You already know that canon, sony, nikon and fuji take good pics, right? So go play with them, find a model that meets your budget and "feels right". Make up your own mind, everyone here will have their own opinion of what to recommend. You need to be an adult, make your own decisions.
