I feel if you can wait, then K200D is better. If you can't, no loss going K10D as well. Again, once K200D come out K10D price may be slashed by alot, if that happens then getting K10D is no brainer
And K10D's battery grip is the same as the K20D, no worry for future compatibility. So to sum it up, K10D, if can buy it after K200D is selling ![]()

Get a used K10D, there should be a few on sale. 2 dials instead of 1. Prism instead of mirror.

Why not just get the K20D? It's a better camera than the K10D

I'm sure you'd love it here. Between the K10D and K200D, I think the price difference is quite small, but K200D does have better image quality base on some early reviews. K200D is smaler/lighter, has the same sensor as the K10D but w/ later improved softare. K200D also has a weather sealed body, and it also has the option of using a battery grip. The other reason some prefer K200D over K10D is because it uses AA batteries. K10D on the other hand is easier to use (more features inside and out), is probably better built. If buy new, I'd go w/ the K200D. If money is a concern, I'd go w/ a second hand K10D, or even a second hand K100D. Pricewise, a new K200D is probably the same or even slighly higher than a new K10D, that's the case in the US. W/ the money for a K20D, I think you can probably get two K10D ![]() |

The K200D inherited what the K10D had including its 10MP CCD sensor.
So if everyone is recommending the K10D, you should get the K200D to capitalise on the additional dust remover and weather sealing... ![]() |
