The S2 Pro is a well-known dust magnet. All I can say is develop good habits such as:
  • Frequent cleaning of lens mount with good lens tissue and a few drops of Eclipse solution.
  • Blowing the mounting area before attaching your lenses.
  • Turn off your camera while changing lens.
  • Try not to change lens in a dusty environment.
  • Keep your camera and lenses in a dry box or dry cabinet when not in use.
  • When using a zoom lens, zoom in and out slowly. Zoom lenses, especially push-pull ones, suck dust like a vacuum cleaner.

You are most welcome.

Congratulations! You are now a proud owner of the 'most colorful' DSLR ever produced. I sold mine last year and I truly regret it.

Oh yes! When i show it to my friends they said "old camera lei"
& when i show the picture they just
can imagine those day when u guys holding this masterpiece is
as proud as D300 or D3 right.
For me i had to pratice more with it cos bought it without a english manual
but ok is quite straight forward & user frenly.

cheers,

TIPS: The S2 Pro is a bit noisy if you shoot at ISO 400 and above. I suggest using Noise Ninja and download the noise profile for S2 Pro. Apply it to your images and you will get noise quality close to that of a S5 Pro at ISO 200.

By the way, the colors from D3 and D300 still looks ugly to me (no offense to Nikon DSLR 'purists').
