noise level at 1600 seems to be lower than iso 400 and 800
![]() btw just to compare the noise at iso 25600, its actually abt the same as a prosumer compact cam at iso 800 |

6MP ?!? hopefully the advancements in designs of the sensor would have much improved to have even lower noise

he means on the D3 NR kicks in at 1600, and it kicks in at 800 on the D300.
