Gaffer tapes

Hi...

I'm looking to purchase some gaffer tape... but don't know which to buy.

I understand that there are different kinds - cloth, vinyl, etc etc

Could somebody recommend which to get, or better still give me a specific brand?

i have seen a quite a number of CSers using gaffer tapes..

to protect equipment, to prevent equipment identification, to make equipment look old and trashed so that nobody would want to steal it, etc, etc...
