Bridal Runway

@ 200mm
ISO 1600
f/6.3, 1/200 s

shot in color, converted to monochrome with yellow reddish tinge added and again re-desaturated. minor cropping done to eliminate slanting lines caused by stage at top tight of picture

would like to hear from you guys regarding my composition, how u feel about the picture, relevance of picture to my title, color selection, and anything else. please be as harsh as possible.
many thanks in advance

i decided to shoot her headless

i aimed to depict the model's job scope as that they are still in the end just a hired living clothe hanger routinely revolving around stage, not really a glamourous job. thus decided to shoot without the head to reduce the importance of the human factor in this and focus on the dress which is the why the models are hired in the first place, to let the dress wear them.

hope this doesn't sound like an excuse

Somehow the other bride at the back is distracting though she's blurred. What's the focal point of the picture? Even with your description I can't really say which is the element that caught my attention.

focal point not sure which you are talking about

1) i focused on the chest of the model in the foreground.
2) focal point of the picture = bring attention to the job

other model in posing stance in the background was intentional to bring out the 'monotonous live on a runway' feel and to emphasize on the place which they are on, the runway.

had thought of excluding her before i press the trigger, but without her in the background, i feel i won't be able to convey it as i had intended as i think would look like just another cropped head and legs shoot of a model in an nondescript location with no direction

wa i very long-winded. really thanks letting me know how u all feel about the picture, hope to hear more
