Shutter still alive: Yes

Taking that the D200 was released in Nov 2005, to date, that is about 27 months. This means that the person took 310,698 shots per month... which is approximately 10,356 shots a day... which is about 431 shots per hour... and about 7 shots per minute (if he never sleeps). This is one power user!

More like GPMG testing.

WOW, can the d200 shutter even lat that long??

I would be happy if it can last that long so bursting is never guilty hahha.

It is quite ridiculous to have that kind of shutter count. If all the cameras by nikon are like that, I think nikon can close shop already.

nah.. how many people actually use their bodies till the shutter wears out? most of the time, its the itchy hands and the BBB virus that lead to a change of camera!

You can read the following thread to see how to check shutter count...

http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306672

Basically, you need to change the shutter when it dies... so dun worry about it.... normally, it can last at least 100,000 shots...
