Does nsc provide lens maintainance?

Hi people,
have a qn in mind,
was wondering if the nikon service centre provide lens maintainance for lenses that are still under warranty, and will they be able to assess the condition of it - like say do tests to see if there are focusing problems, or other tests to check the sharpness of the lens ( just got a 2nd hand lens that is still under warranty) so im wondering if itll be possible to send it in
