    Hi,

Will be going to ride the SIngapore Flyer on 8th March 1900hrs.

Need to know how to take shots during the ride. Is it ok to use flash in view of all the glass around?

    Pls advise.......

If you're talking about taking pictures of people *inside* the same capsule as you, flash is ok, just avoid a reflective surface directly perpendicular to you. This is common, basic flash 101.

For shooting outside, using a flash is silly.

    hi,

like what rashkae mentioned.. shooting people inside the capsule is ok to flash.. but if you wanna shoot the scenary outside, no way.. unless your flash can cover a distance lilke 1km.. kekeke..

then taking the scenaries outside may need a tripod cos you will need to open the shutter a bit longer then normal..

here is a picture i took from the ground.. with a tripod and very slow shutter speed..

    hope it helps..

    Thank you for the replies.

I think it will be a problem to take the scene outside even with a tripod cos the movement will affect the longer exposure time.

Anyway will post some photos when I am done.....

The carpark is opposite the road ... almost missed it last nite. 2 levels of parking space ... quite a lot since the the flyer is not open for the public to ride yet.
