I'm here to seek second opinions - some say the upgrade firmware 1.10 settles the overexposure issue. What are the D80 owners takes? Thanks!

I upgraded my friend's D80's firmware. Based on my limited experience, I believe the firmware has somehow enhanced the exposure control under brigth sun light. I managed to try out today under hot sun light, I do not need to step down -7EV enymore to get the desired exposure.

By the way, quite hot sunlight today, here are some shots taken, none need to step EV down. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ct3833/...7604068102000/ Last edited by CT 3833; 8th March 2008 at 10:21 PM. |

my d80 never needed to step down at all for normal shots, didn't have that slight overexposure problem some people have. so duno shd even try upgrading the fw or not. hmm...
