I was using my flash during one of the parties I attended and some people complained that the flash was too bright. Now I am planning to buy a diffuser. What diffuser do you recommend for the 540fgz?

get the LumiQuest pocket bouncer from CP, I have been using one for the last 10 years or so. The result is very good. Direct but not too harsh.

Using the Lambency now, the made in China clone of the Gary Fong diffuser - aka dessert bowl Pretty good and cheap and definitely better than the Stofen. Only problem is that it takes space.

I would prefer to do without the bound cards, if it gives a yellow cast -because distorting the white-balance setted.

Yea! I am using the LumiQuest Pocket Bouncer and I like the result. I don't lose too much power and don't have to worry about rotating the head when shooting vertical. The reflector is always facing forward.
