Warranty and receipt - 2nd hand camera

Hi all,

I just bought a second hand sd6500fd from a fellow clubsnapper. It's specified on the back of the warranty card that I need the e-receipt for e-warranty, the original purchase receipt, and the warranty card if I wanna send it for servicing.

However, only the warranty card is passed to me. So do I need to ask the seller for the e-receipt and the original purchase receipt as well? Or will fujifilm be willing to service the camera based solely on the warranty card?

Also, can I still purchase the extended warranty now? There's abt 5 months left on the 1st year warranty.

I think it is better to get the receipt from the seller.
As for the extended warranty, it should be stated on the warranty card that the ext wty can only be purchased within (iirc) 14 days.
