Exactly the same. Just the color is different This white one used to be a limited edition version for Lomo Asia last Xmas and it was called Rudolf and had a cute reindeer icon on the rewind knob

just a quick off-tangent question:

one can mod the diana+ to use 135 film in the same way that is done on holga, right? - sponge, rubber band, tape

Never tried that but do not go for the one in ebay. The seller claims that it's for using 135 on diana but no details. Bought one and ended up demanding for a refund. It's crap. Just a small metal holder for the film and a plastic 'mask' for the film. You'll need to use a black bag to rewind the film too.

er.. i don't intend to buy those kits, but rather just use sponge to fit the film roll in, and rubberbands to align the film spool (ala holga mod style). will that work?

it's a bit like this:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=AK9iBKoQYik

there was no frame mask in the video. is there a need for one? i though don't need. lol.
