Default Orchids

My Virgin shot after owning a 40D two days ago. First DSLR and still figuring-out the functions. All CnCs welcome for a better tomorrow .

What mode did you use? It seems that you need to do some readings on controling DSLR. Read on books, magazines and CS, it will help you.

Care to share what you thought can be further improved ? In TS flickr's site, the properties showed it is in aperture mode. Some suggest that using shuttle priority would be a better option, can increase number of keeper despite wind. The pics looked ok with EV of 13. Is that considered underexposed ? I'm new too trying to learn as well.
