Hi, does anybody has any experience in using Sigma 15-30mm f3.5-4.5 EX DG? Is distortion/vignetting a problem, especially at the widest at 15mm?
Is it true that there are no threads in the front to allow a UV filter to be attached to it? Thanks. |

use the search function on the top left corner of the page....
Type in "sigma 15-30" and there will be many treads to choose from. Happy reading. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthrea...ght=Sigma+1530 an example. |

The lens comes with an adaptor ring/cup that has threads to put on the filter, as well as the lens cap. It will definitely vignette very slightly with standard width filters, and perhaps very minimal with super thin ones. I use standard UV, with very slight vignetting. Polarisers will vignette alot.
Wanted to get the super thins, but the cost... $$$. |
