Sun rise rays on KangRimboche (冈仁波齐峰)- better known as Mount Kailash, Ngari (阿里), Tibet



Pilgrims taking the plunge into the icy cold waters of Mapham Yumtso (玛旁雍错)- better known as Lake Manasarovar,Ngari (阿里), Tibet. The lake is the source of the mighty Indus River.


Salt pans along Mekong River (or Lancang Jiang 澜沧江 when in China) at the village of 白盐井 at Yanjing 盐井 (or Tsakalho 擦卡洛 in Tibetan), Tibet

I travelled around there bet Jun-Aug.
Satreted with India in late Jun enroute to Concordia trekking in Jul. After that crossed over to China to Ngari, then made my way to Lhasa-Kunming-Guangzhou-Macao-S'pore.

Yes. Really awesome. Especially the first photo.

When I first look at it, it's like the mountain was on fire. When I look at it again, it became a piece of gold.
