Hi
For taking pictures of animals in zoo and birds in JBP, what is the preferred zoom range, is 300mm enough? Please recommend some 3rd party lens for consideration. Appreciate if someone can attached some pictures for reference, please state the lens used to take the pictures. Thks. Regards htx ![]() |

Raynox Brand. Look for Jim McGill at the Mass Order Thread. He brings in the Raynox brand of Wide Angle and Tele lenses for all cams.

Or are you looking for specific brand lenses like the 300mm lenses from Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sony/Konica Minolta, Olympus?

Thks for the prompt reply. I am just a casual shooter, not going to invest in expensive long lens for birds and animals. I would like some information from fellow CSers who can share some models so that I can consider (within my means). It does not have to be prime lens, zooms are ok. Regards htx |

What's ur cam body? DSLR? Also you need to consider if you'll be using a conventional DSLR telephoto lens regularly. If not, you can really consider this lens below: http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/William-Optic...QQcmdZViewItem Cheers, Jim, McGill. |
