Thread: best place to test cameras before buying

Question best place to test cameras before buying

Best place to go to try out the features of various cameras and see how the camera feels in your hands?

Preferably where the staff won't beat you up if you're just doing research before coming to a final decision

    thanks

I read that a guy called Ed9119 lends his camera for free. Maybe you should try to locate him.

Go to places like Courts, Harvey Norman etc ... provided you are not getting a DSLR, then that one you have to go to the shops for 'hands-on' .....

try John 3:16 on the 3rd floor of Funan. they've got excellent service and attitude

but in general most of the more popular shops are ok.

Any shop who wants to do serious business, instead of lusting after the money in your wallet, will allow you to test a few before buying.

Go to Harvey Norman or Courts, as nobody buys cameras from them, preferring instead to buy from AP or CP. Since they are not crowded, they will be more willing to entertain you, as compared to a queue at AP and CP.
