I'm a bit curious as to why SIA did not put the passengers into hotels which had empty rooms like the St Regis, Raffles Hotel etc etc
they did not think of many hotel 81s all over
A380 with only 70 passengers??
maybe just delaying tactic to wait for some more passengers
Given the Singapore Air's second A380 was undergoing maintenance, Mr Forshaw said the flight had to be replaced with a Boeing 747-400.
"Obviously, a 747-400 can't carry as many passengers as an A380, so we've had to transfer around 70 passengers to alternative flights today,'' he confirmed via an email.
i believe there are backup planes, why not use them and not tanish their name?
and i tot there are transit hotels at the terminals? All full ah?
