    Hi Guys,

    I just started investing on the US Market (Nasdaq) last year and managed to get some profits thru shorting. Do I need to declare those profits as income to IRAS?

    It's not that I want to declare.. But I don't to get chase by IRAS in the future in case I don't declare

    Shouldn't it be considered as capital gain which is not taxable?

    Nope, capital gains are NOT taxable....

    All overseas investment are non-taxable...

    u can check with the government of singapore or MAS
