    Default camera body with QD

    Hi,
I noticed camera bodies usually come with the term 'with QD'. May I know what does 'with QD' means?

    Yeah!

It just allow you to print the date on the negatives and positives.

For SLRs, this extra feature usually cost about $50 more than a similar non-date models.

As for PnS, it's about $30.

And in my opinion, completely useless ... I have a camera body (2nd hand) that came with QD, and the single time I accidentally turned it on, it "ruined" several rolls of slide film ... in the sense that the pics were still good, but marred by the date on the bottom right corner.

Save your money and avoid this "feature".
