depends on how wide-angle ur lens is, and software used.
basically, esp in indoor pano shots, tripod w/ pano heads is a must. to prevent parallex errors. the centre of rotation shd coincide with nodal point in the lens. tips on which part is easier to be the joining part? depends on software. gd shots with use of gd software wont be too difficult. everything's auto. this thread is useful: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347191 (mainly for outdoors only, indoors u must be careful of parallex errors, cos they can be rather tricky to correct even with gd software.)
