Default HELP! 50 f1.8 break/spoil.

My 50 f1.8 dropped to the ground from around chair level. I tried and thought it was still working. However, when i was having difficulties focusing, i changed to MF and the lens front part came off. What to do? It is still under warranty.

Sorry for the blur pictures.

Buy new one lah cos this dropping incident is NOT covered under warranty. Or u may want to upgrade to the f/1.4 version.

The f/1.8 II is suppose to be noisy and slow during AF.

I got a tool for removing a stuck filter. I can lend it to you.

Get a new one bro. And take very good care of the next one. Personally I feel the f/1.4 isn't going to take much more damage anyway. Just bite the bullet and get a new one. That's life! But don't let this get you down.
