    Default how do i know if my lens is suitable?

    hi i am lookin at the D300, which has a 51 point auto focus sensor, the thing is that will all lens, Nikkor, Sigma and Tamron able to use the 51 points???

    Yes unless that lens has got sever spherical aberration (rare nowadays) which makes it unable to focus if you use the points near the edges of the frame.

    but on org. nikkor lens all should b usable right?

    You want Canon L lens also can... Use adaptors lor... Anything is possible...

    the thing is can all the points b used??? i noe abt the adaptor, is jst tat the AF cannot use right?

    Oops, my bad, I think it is the other way round...
    I've only tried with flashes... Canon body + Nikon flash, then Nikon body + Canon flash...
    I am NOT a PROfessional photographer and photography is NOT my hobby

    for the flash jst cannot use the TTL functin right?
