tot it was already known issue... but not that wide spread as the AF issue. quite easy fix mah... re-align sensor.

but better recheck all AF points are accurate after alignment.

What's with Canon's quality control?!?!?!

The dark side's D3 doesn't seem to have any of the similar embarrassments.

As easy of a fix as it may seem, Canon gave me a 3 wk turn around per body after i sent both my bodies in when all my work via the copy stand was off by 2-5mm. !"#"!!"#

I'm sure they do.... they will.. they have to...

(d2h meter probs, d200 banding, d1x's buffer failure, D1's greenish hue & battery problems,
F3's rewind crank failure, etc etc )

woah! 3 weeks!?! you got CPS or not, can try to get a loan body loh.

yes i am on contract with CPS... they did provide loaners, but of the 2 loaners, one had the same issue. Ended using a Ds mk1 in the end yesterday night.

Donno la... don care liao la... The way things are going, you might see my name in the classifieds....
