Default Help on S3Pro Firmware upgrade.

I'm trying to upgrade my S3Pro firmware but it seems that it can only be upgraded with AC power supply being plugged in. The problem is that I dun have this adapter cos the seller did not given me the adapter so now can't locate the seller. Is there any other way?

Thanks in advance....

the s3 doesnt come with the power adapter. you will need to borrow from someone. or if you have the fuji f10/f11/f30 you can try using that power adapter.

Pres and hold the BACK button and turn on your cam. The screen will show you the firmware version.

Before upgrade, my 80-400 VR can work, now the VR is working fine.....

If you are daring, pop in good fully charged batteries and it'll last through your update. Only for the brave.

I often clean my sensor on battery power, too!

As a matter of fact, anyone here considered what happens if the house/office power supply fails during update? Very unpredictable, eh? Perhaps you'll also need a UPS to go!

S3 Pro will not allow you to update firmware without plugging an AC adapter. That's why I was hunting hi & lo till I found some forum guys using 3rd party adapter for other devices. Hope this really help those who are trying to update their S3 Pro
