Hi everyone,
i've got a lubitel 2 for quite a while, and have gone through about 2 rolls of film so far but keep having the same problem - becoz the camera does not have a metering system, all my pictures usually turn out either overexposed or underexposed. i know the camera is fine becoz i have got some shots that turned out fine, so it boils down to the user (me!). should i... 1. get one of those light meters? 2. lug around my fuji digicam and try to use the settings from it? appreciate all the advice! thanks in advance. |

1) Get a light-meter, even a second hand one will do.
2) If you do not wish to spent the extra money, use your existing digi cam, rely on the histogramme reading and NOT by judging on your LCD screen. |

Alternatively you can use the sunny f16 rule where in bright sun light, you set your camera to 1/(iso speed of film) shooting at f16. Usually those film boxes will tell you what condition to use what settings, eg cloudy, overcast etc...
