Can Canon Speedlite 380EX work with 40D?

Hello guys,

Can Canon Speedlite 380EX work with 40D? After i checked details of Speedlite 380EX, I realised it can work with EOS SLR cameras but not "DSLR". Please advise

Yes it should work fine, since its an ETTL flash.

So you have the speedlite or planing to get one. If you have it just try if all the function can be use with you 40d. Where you stay?
