You can crop the excess space at the bottom and right.

If you can shoot the bee on the flower this good , it means you should get a macro lens & enjoy every moment with it !

Hi , just my 2 cents . You can set you Aperture higher to f8 & above , from your Exif info , f5.6 is to wide .

Try
- use manual focus, move your setup to focus
- go closer to the object
- keep low level ( same to the object )
- use flash to fill in , FC -1
- ensure Aperture is f8 or smaller or try different values
- ensure shutter speed is 1/focal length sec for handheld

Depends on which body you are using Bro . Macro lens vary from 50mm to 200mm range . There are other ways to get close to the object , like using Bellows , extension tubes , reverse and filters . I have tried some of them & i still like the AF Macro lens . Its quite expensive though , but the results are satisfying .

You may want to try using Close up filters like mine ... Not so expensive compared to buying a Macro lens .

But you only have one way to shoot with these Filters , its to get close to it . Don't expect to get focused from far ...
