Sample shot:
![]() I don't own this lens but I've played around with it. Solidly built, works well. A little too expensive for a 'fun' lens, so it's on hold on the wishlist. |

?not a diver or underwater photographer, so also don't see the link between "definitely must have this lens" idea and underwater.. ? huge expense of the sea? |

I happen to know a fellow CSer who uses this glass extensively for portrait shoot. You may want to take a look at his portfolio over here http://mikeelliotlim.multiply.com/

I love fish-eye photography, but I can't afford a proper fish-eye lens, so I have fish-eye convertors. Not the same but I still enjoy it.

so hve anyone tried this lens on a 400D? will it work well, or will the image be cropped? due to the smaller image censor

It is a DX lens, which means the image circle is optimised for a cropped sensor (not censor). Don't have to think so much. Just mount the lens and have fun.

You can also consider the Sigma 4.5mm FE.
Very sharp, however I find the image circle a little smaller than usual on a Nikon. Maybe because it was made for all different cropped factor. ![]() Last edited by Dennis; 16th February 2008 at 11:15 AM. |
