30D Exposure Settings

I have a 30D, lately I've noticed that my exposure setting to be one step down (towards the left) when shooting in Av and Tv Mode - it wasnt like this previously. Is there any explanation to this?

Any remedies?

Turn the big wheel at the back

U have activated the EV control,which is activated when u put the power switch to one position after "ON".In future,do remember to leave it in only ON so u wont accidentally alter the exposure settings
