most of the shots posted here were taken using reverse lens setup. if i not mistaken, #16 & #18 were shot at 28mm, pictures are uncropped. the magnification was huge, but so were the shakes

Working distance varies according to which end of the focal length used. at 28mm, you are probably about 1.5 to 2 inches away from the subject. at 50mm, i am guessing about 3 inches or so. hope this gives you an idea.
