Well, after a long wait of 4 months it's finally here by my side...HAHAHA
The best thing is that you don't need a PC to set it up. Which is quite handy if I just want some transfer to FTP server in Wi-Fi Hotspots. You can set everything up from the camera. The next cool thing is the Web server. Can view and even press the shutter with it. What a nice "hazard-free" access. 2 Secs for Large Fine Jpeg - Not bad 8 Secs for Raw - Hm... a bit turtle for me. And one more bad point on it is the battery compartment. I've gotta use 2 batteries to drive both the camera and the WFT-E3. I can't imagine if my camera ran out of battery and I need to replace it (gotta take out the WFT-E3 first). |

USB flash / Harddisk yes, you can choose whether you wanna save to CF or Harddisk/Flash or both.
I have no GPS to test so no comment. You know 40D has the battery door open at the bottom ya? if this thing attached it will block the door...So if you wanna change battery you need to take it off before you can open the door. |

Works with the iPhone (and hence most likely the iPod Touch) according to this article.
