hi, whats the best way/program to process RAW from a 40D?

I like Digital Photo Professional that came with the camera, they say "who knows RAW files better than the manufacturer themselves?"

but now I'm using lightroom and really love it

I'm also using DPP to process RAW. Don't see the need to go and buy addition sofware.
