The brightness and color temperature on a monitor change over time and calibration compensates for the changes. If you maintain a monitor at the same condition, you can assure constant color at any time. Keeping constant color is crucial to check the color of images on screen.

I am offering a Monitor Calibration & Profiling Service to all home users for the need to maintain constant color for their LCD/CRT monitors. Monitor Calibration is pre-requisite to correct color printing; adjust your image colors correctly before you send them out to print.

System requirement
: Win 2000/XP & Mac 10.2 (or higher)
Hw + Sw for Monitor Profiling
: Spyder2 + [Spyder2Pro v2.3.5] <now in use>
: Spyder3 + [Spyder3Pro v3.0.1] (may be available in the near future)
: Eye-One Display2 + [Eye-One Match v3.6.2] (may be offered in the near future)

Calibration of projector screens possible.

Home user rate:
S$50 ($40) - 1st timer
S$45 ($35) - repeat customer
(Pls enquire for biz rates)

Price include program installs(uninstalls) [duration 1~2hrs] + own transport.
Price per visit are for one computer, one install(uninstall) & one monitor profile. If you have 3 monitors, price will be $50+40+40 (home user). Businesses operating from home (SOHO) 'may' qualify for home user rates.

If you engage my services, pls note that prior to my arriving at your location, do ensure that you...
a) download and install the latest graphic drivers for your computer,
b) remove any existing Adobe Gamma startup & disable all power saving features,
c) reset all monitors to factory settings (only for Brightness/Contrast & Color),
d) get your system running for at least one hour,
e) wipe away dust which may have accumulated on the face of your monitor

When calibration have completed, you may wish to restore your favorite screen saver or power management settings but please do not reactivate Adobe Gamma or change your Brightness & Contrast as they can conflict with your new color settings.

For ATi Graphic users, pls note that the calibrated profile may not work when Catalyst Control Center (CCC) is in operation. CCC may need to be disabled before your calibrated profile can be loaded at system startup. ATi is working on a solution to rectify this problem.

I may offer to install some useful royalty-free software whenever time permits me to.
