Default A200 & Bounce Flash

nothing to do after reunion dinner so decided to do some testing and I think the cam and flash handle the color very well especially black and red in the first photo

i also tested the flash with people looking at the cam and so far no lazy eyes detected!

I notice that A200's popup flash is rather short. Just for the fun of it... can external flash be mounted and tigger off while the popup flash is up?

No you can't raise the pop up flash anyway...

The red is still blown but very slightly... impressive for built-in flash... especially the tulips... quite easy to fool the metering... which metering mode did you use for the tulips? And were u using a D lens? Aperture? Focal length?

i doubt its a built in flash..its bounce flash probably from a F36AM..

red is not blown from my calibrated lcd..color seems good...

not easy to fool sony alpha metering..never had any problem with it..

it is not the pop up flash. it was shot using the end of th 18-70 kit lens and i always use center-weight, never trust the matrix mode since my slr days. the red looks fine on both my desktop and laptop ... the pics were only resized and sharpened slightly, no other pp. and yes i use ADI and fill flash mode with no flash compensation.

Looks like the external flash issues have been sorted out after all.... which flash did you use? The 36?
