Lens protector for DSC R1

I need to protect the lens of my precious R1, any suggestions which brand/type to get?

Any UV filter will do. I think it should cost less than $10-$15.
But if you want high quality types, special coating etc, then about $50.

I usually go TK Foto at Shaw tower bugis/beach rd. They will recommend you according to your budget. Great service always.
