    Woah.

Maybe you should bring out your B&Os, and we bring out our 888s.
Then we can have a little pow-wow...

Anyway, just to ask this, anyone knows where I can re-terminate my 888?

I need to re-terminate my LP version into a SP version + an extension cable.
I'm sick and tired of all the long cables dangling all over the place..

I think there are some shops terminating this @ SLS (Avit Link?) and SLT, but I was looking at those factory-termination types (the kind of termination quality that you see on those on-the-shelf SP earphones + headphones, akin the EX71)

    Anyone?

I'm using a Sony MDR-EX70... I tot this fella was really good, but when my friend yDanz bought the B&O and I compared both performance ... I got to admit defeat...

However, until now, I still can't bring myself to buy a pair of $175 earphones. But I'll say that if sound quality is of higher importance than cost factor... Earphones wise... its B&O....

    Cheers

EX70s are quite lacking in the mid-range section...
Actually I wanted to get this, but my ear-holes were too small for a snug fit.

One thing to consider about would be the source equipment that you are using on.
If you are going to pair this A8s with a crappy PCDP (portable CD player) with no portable external amp, it's a little overkill right?

I don't think any consumer PCDP on the market can pair up with this pair...
Just for more hardcore portable freaks, check this forum out @ www.head-fi.org

I believe in the term 'garbage in, garbage out'...
EDIT: Some reviews over there that I've found.

    @ Hyatt, Orchard.
    Do give us a review!
And make sure to let it burn in first... before having a serious audition.

Just bought a PXC250 ($240)Sennheiser today. I saw the recommendation by some of you about the PX200($99) and so I went to Hung Bros to get it. After I had decided to buy it, one of the staff ask me if I wanted to try the PXC250 & told me how good the Noise Guard is.

    OK, no harm trying.

I put on the headset (w/o any music) and "on" the Noise Guard control.
I was so amaze that the Noise Guard control actually removes most if not all of the surrounding noise.

You guys should try it, I feel that its best if you are traveling on bus and MRT and etc. B&O may be very good in sound quality, but if you can still hear the noise in your area, it will still decrease the quality of your music.

noise cancellation is useful in bus or MRT

but if you are walking along the street or crossing the road, better off the noise cancellation

I can check for you next Tue.. If they are selling on the in-flight sales, maybe able to get 10-20% discount.

But can't buy for you unless you wait for me for another 4-5mths, cos I will be away in Brisbane
