I think first shot has the best composition here.. The rest seem a little underexposed and the vignetting effect does not work that well IMO.

#1 gets my vote too.. except for a bit of her ear cut by your border...
i agree with raptor... the rest of the photos are underexpose... simple tweak adjustment on Levels should do the trick... gorgeous cat you got there....

quite a good series there..
my pick would go to the first as well. the cat's got a 'human' touch to it. as for the last pic, the composition would be better if you can get down to be at level with the cat. and probably a tighter composition would be better. decrease the dof as the background can be a little distracting. cheers! it's a beautiful cat!! |

Glad that you like her! Mulan, No, she is the property of my gf's and you are extremely correct that she is a cat with an attitude.Snowywolf, For the last shot i had actually off my camera already, so it's just a quick shot when i saw her on the stool ![]() Thanks alot for your comments and suggestion! |

What breed is that ? Looks like a cross between a Siamese and some furry breed like the Chesire ? I had a Siamese a very, very long time ago. Bumped into one in the neighbourhood not too long ago. Those cats have an atitude! Not in a bad way really if you know how to temper them. Very confident cats, very, very calm and a little aloof. But extremely easy to take care of them if you know how to play to their temperament. BTW... gorgeous cat! Last edited by KangS; 5th February 2008 at 09:01 AM. |

ur third pic i think u focus on the wrong area...it would be best to focus on the eyes of the catr for such a close shot

since it's an indoor shot and i am using a macro lens with F2.8 pretty hard for a noob like me to focus on the eyes XD I would luv to have a shot of the eyes with a nice light captured in it.Will try again when i got the chance, and thanks for your comments ![]() |
