Hmm, a flash on the bracket is more useful... this wouldn't eliminate all the side shadows.

Hmm, it'd be actually quite nifty if it's got a RF receiver unit, and brackets... but usually, we can see - that portion's usually filled by third party manufacturers... As said, some might not need it, so all those bells and whistles as a standard would bump the prices up too much...

RF would mean that everything that the old Dynax flash system could do, the new system can do now plus more... pretty cool huh! If that's what it is... as of now, the flash doesn't even have a name or code...

I was thinking of wireless, off-camera TTL, ratio flash, remote flash compensation, remote manual flash, lots of possibilities... u could really control an entire setup of wireless flashes at your DSLR body a la Nikon and maybe even more... trust the engineers at SONY to dream up of something special... especially if they retained all the ex-KM staff...

Looks like sulhan should be right about the 3-axis flash thingie. This one from photoshow 08 in Italy.

Read before in dpreview Sony forum, some guys there are skeptical of the 3-axis thingie.

What makes this flash so fantastic you are betting skeptics will be swayed by Sony's publicity?
