Tamron lens built in motor forNikon mount

Hi,
saw this announcement below, I am particulary interested in the 17-50mm, does it mean that the current model in the market do not come with a built-in motor?

I was lucky then, wanted to buy the Tamron17-50mm f2.8 at Hong Kong last week but it is out of stock. Now can wait for this lens to reach shore.

Why pay more for this model when you dun need the built-in motor on your D80?

If the new version price is reasonable, of course i will go for the faster one. Or the price of the 1st version will drop when the new batch reach shore.

Since i'm don't need this lens urgently, meantime just have to wait for the price and review.

I am hoping that it will be more silent, and have corrected the over exposed problem in TTL-BL mode.

This lens has been out of stock for so long. Hope to get one soon.
