I got my 52mm adaptor (box printed for C700) for my C750. Realized that it caused slight shadow at bottom left of image when used with built in flash. Price: ~S$28.

If I am not wrong CL4 is 55mm => more shadow.

Yups, I am using the CLA4. It will cause a shadow if the subject is very close to the camera. However, if you use the 52mm adaptor, you cant use the TCON17 and the wide angle convertor as both of them have 55mm thread.

Its ok. I am satisfied with 10x zoom and its stock wide angle at 38mm.

TTL one very ex.. some more need to get adaptor for non Olympus make.

Any cheap cheap one that can make it one to recommend?

By the way; my first unit got many hot and stuck pixel. Some even appeared at iso 100 at 1/5 sec darkframe.

Now I am happy with my second unit.. Observed only some hot pixel at 2 sec at iso100 which can be reduced with NR enabled.

I am thinking of the Metz 32MZ3 which is a TTL flash and like you said, it needs a SCA adaptor. MS color quote me 110 for the SCA adaptor and 210 for the flash. But quite expensive, so dunno whether to get or not...

wa the flash like almost 1/2 the cost of cam already...

Guess I will take off the adaptor if I want to avoid the shadow.

I have yet to compare a pic taken at 10x vs 17x or 20x. Am I right to say the object at 10 x will be 1.7 or 2 times bigger only?

Yes.. ithe comparison is 1x vs 10 x.. so very big difference..

But I think 10x vs 20x, the object (eg a bird in the image) is only 2x bigger and u might end up with contrast loss and purple fringing.

By the way, are those macro shot taken with canon 250D or just c750 standalone?
