Default S2 images / resolution not sharp

Hi

I am always having difficuility with the S2 images I took. After taken the shots, I used photoshop to view through the computer and enlarge the images always find that the images not sharp. So I change the pixels to arount 3000 and sometimes 4000 but still not really solved. So I used raw files to shoot but the resolution / sharpness of the image still don't improve. I tried printing the images to 8R photo size realised the resolution is really bad. Is S2 images sharpness really like that?? Hope that anyone can give me your expert view

Thanks

fujifilm s pro series are well know for its excellent image colour and tone. but they are not for beginner or newbie cos one needs to learn and understand and play with the different settings in order to really get the best out of the cam.
take some time to play with it, i believe it is your settings.
if you still got problem, photobum is the best person to ask.

how about posting a sample photo? or maybe a link to a full size photo so we have an idea of what you mean. better if you can also provide details on how you took the photo - what lens was used, was a tripod used, etc. ppl have different perceptions of sharpness so a photo will help a lot.

Images from any Fujifilm S Pro series DSLRs is never known to be very sharp like those you would expect from a Canon or Olympus. If you have the habit of pixel-peeking, this camera is not for you.

Do keep in mind that all Fujifilm S Pro series DSLRs are marketed mainly to portrait and wedding photographers. You don't need a very sharp camera for portraitures.

Yes.... As Madmac mentioned, post or link a sample picture so that we can see if it is really the camera's fault.
