Medium format FSLR.......WOW!!!
I suppose they want to expand their market for their fabled Velvia/Provia products as well. I love a good Fujichrome slide. Just goes to show film is far from dead. Long live medium format! I hope the Fuji, when released, is priced competitively with the existing MF systems. MF gear is still not cheap even though prices have been brought down by digital. Fuji would have a reason to make it very affordable too as it would stimulate demand for their film. And if it takes existing lenses, riding on say, the Mamiya system, that would be even nicer. This is somethng to get excited about. There are still some of us that long for medium format cameras. I hope it is affordable but I have a feeling it is going to be pricey. The other thing is I am gald to know that Fuji is still committed or at least they see it worthwhile to invest in film products. To me this is a sign that film is very much alive.

I guess the new Fuji MF is a range finder because the Fujifilm website mentioned that it is a "portable medium-format film camera" and Fujifilm have a history of producing very good MF range finger.
Just a guess... ![]() |

Ooops ![]() Looks like I forgot Fuji had their successful GA645 series. Nevertheless, it would be an interesting addition to the medium format landscape... |

I hope it's 6x6....but that would be a little too much to ask for, wouldn't it?
Am I the only one who wants a portable 6x6 (besides a holga, of course), such as the Mamiya 6? Anybody else here craves for an alternative to Hassy's 6x6? Nizz |

More info on the Fuji GF670. Its a 6x7 folding MF camera with a 80mm F3.5 lens and coupled rangefinder.

looks like a very polished product, but how strange... a new folder in this day and age!? (what material is the bellows made from? looks like rubber from the pics)
good thing it has a coupled RF, bad thing (for me at least) is that it's 6x7. wouldn't it be nice if this new thing costs way below sgd 1k! |
