Thumbs up Re: Jay Chou World Tour 2008 (19/01/08)

The best set I'v seen on this concert here. And I cant imagine its from a D80. I like the nice dreamy look. Under the type of condition that you are shooting, you did a good job.

Well done. Event shots concentrate on the moment. I feel that these pics had been captured well.

Good shots! Noise is acceptable as well given that tripod is not possible to be used in such occasion. I don't agree that Nikon is just for shooting landscape, architecture etc only especially after D300 and D3 is introduced.

hehe. ya had to pump up the ISO to 400. exactly not possible to bring a tripod in concerts. humm... i agree that nikon is not just for landscape etc.

its just the eye behind the viewfinder.

thanks for ya comment too!

Ya agree...ONLY after D300 and D3 is introduced. The sensor is 'improved', noise is lesser then.
Does tripod affect noise level ??
Could be better if correct setting is used
eg. from 'canto' concert(andy lau, sammi cheng) series, iso800 was used, noise level is still unnoticeable.

i used iso 400 but still kinda noisy. hum... tripod dont affect noise level but affects sharpness. alot of my pic are blurred due to hand shakes and some out of focus.

happy shooting!!! =D

thanks for sharing. at least we get to see something for us who're not even there and can't be there.

continuous servo focus could be used to lock on focus as the subject moves and monopod can reduce blur due to handshake. maybe you can consider saving up for a better lens for use in low light situation like this? (beware of the virus )
