New York, NY (CNS) - Ford Supermodel of the World has chosen its newest face to join their elite team.
Seung-hyun Kang, of Korea, struts her way to the grand prize as she beat out 49 other contestant from around the world for the $250,000 contract with Ford Models.
The 50 finalists, who arrived in New York last week, endured the contest's boot camp of model life-filled activities such as photo shoots and go-sees (appointment with clients) and walking lessons.
The camp ended in a final runway show in Manhattan on Wednesday where it commenced with a beauty contest style introduction.
Though already in its 28th year, the Ford search has gotten fewer buzz than the relatively new "America's Next Top Model." But 2004 finalist Ajuma isn't worried at all as she sees Ford as being more successful in cultivating models than its reality TV counterpart.
