Hey Everyone,
It's been a while since I last posted here but there has been a reason for that. Basically, for the past few months, I've been in the post-production stage of my latest short film, Incrimination – An intriguing student short film that features many professional 'Hollywood' production elements such as a cast/crew of over 70 people, police cars in an authentic bus lot, and even a real SWAT team. ![]() I shot this last June 2007, but the laptop I was using to edit the movie got stolen with the only copy of the film; forcing me to re-edit everything from scratch and are thus only releasing it now. This was shot on a HVX with SG Pro 35mm Adaptor, 2 XL2s and 1 DVX with a budget of $700-$800 USD. The synopsis is as follows: Having long worked on a case for the past year, Detective John Larsen arrives at the scene of a mysterious crime. Dozens of dead bodies litter the ground in what appears to be a violent massacre of a group of cops & organized criminals working together. Despite being advised against going in by his boss & coworkers, he goes in anyway. Teaming up with a gorgeous female Federal Agent, the pair work together and comb the crime scene in a bid to unravel a crime that could very possibly entail an intricately fatal puzzle of corruption, intrigue, and betrayal at the highest levels of the police force. A high-octane, fast paced action-thriller shot at the independent movie level, Incrimination is a film filled with spectacular gunfights, intriguing character development, & countless plot twists and turns that will keep any audience riveted to their seats. The trailer is available here (I have no idea why it's so interlacy on youtube!): http://youtube.com/watch?v=XV0uUYzVLgk The trailer is still a rough cut in that it hasn't been color corrected to the final product, and uses the 'ALIAS' font which we changed later - More importantly, there's a heavy emphasis on the guns just to attract the typical university kid. The real film has much more substance, I assure you. More information is also available HERE and HERE: And at our website: www.fps-productions.com Here are some production stills: (Sorry no grabs - Still doing last minute editing!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please feel free to let me know if you have any further questions, comments, or inquiries. I'm totally open to comments as usual, even negative ones, and would love constructive feedback in any way, shape or form. Ultimately, I hope you guys enjoy the short trailer and would like to see the full 30 minute version in the near future! Feel free to e-mail me at admin@fps-productions.com! |

Haha thanks Sundazz, yeah I am. Quite so. Hope that was enjoyable. Ceecookie, what cameras in particular are you referring to? Prosumer models like the HVX or more pro-oriented models like the HPX500?
